The Atari press team has released a promo video about the siege of Federation Starbase 24.
While exciting to watch, it is not clear to me how much of this is game play video and how much of it is rendered for the occasion.
Also, the script needs a bit of work. The Federation 7th and 8th fleets are battling the Klingon 9th fleet around Starbase 24.
Maybe it is just me, but my mind just grabbed onto the fact that 7+8+9=24 and felt just a bit cheated, like they weren’t trying hard enough.
On the other hand, it is good to see the Federation and the Klingon Empire have come to blows again. Trying times make for a more interesting game.

Star Trek Online is Coming
Since I am planning to play Star Trek Online when it comes out, I thought I might create a new site to be the companion to my EVE Online Pictures blog.
As a warm-up, I will be posting some of the press pictures that Cryptic Entertainment has provided. That will probably have to do until the game ships on February 2nd.
